AVOID HIGH CALL OUT CHARGES - CALL US FIRST

BT SKY PLUSNET TALKTALK - THEY MAY CHARGE A FORTUNE IF THEY FIND A FAULT IN YOUR HOME

OUR CHARGES AVERAGE 1/2 THOSE QUOTED BY BT - OFTEN FAR LESS

If there's a fault with your line it's only the responsibility of your service provider (eg BT, Sky, TalkTalk) as far as the master socket. If this is of the current standard, and it may well not be, it should be possible to remove the lower portion of the faceplate to reveal the 'test socket'. If the line works to this point but not when the faceplate is replaced then it's time to give us a call. If not you can expect a bill of around £200 or more from BT or any of the other major service providers. Our call out charge for residential or home business customers  includes the first hours labour. Most faults are cleared within the hour and if they can't be you'll be given an exact quote on the spot before any further costs are incurred. Be warned - there are far too many occasions when your service provider get their diagnosis wrong - they'll tell you the fault is in your equipment or wiring when it is not the case. Be sure to get the name of the call centre agent who tells you that you need to have an engineer visit. If we are called and the fault proves to be on the line we will always provide you with a full report to enable you to reclaim our charges.

NEW EXTENSIONS

Most new extensions within the home can be installed for between £75.00 - £90.00 including materials* (not incl. cost of telephone). So if you need a phone by the bed or you're setting up a home office that's the most you're likely to have to pay. Some jobs do cost more but we only ever charge for the additional materials used and any additional labour time. If the job is going to cost more than £75.00 you'll be told before work begins.

* upto 35m cable and 1 x secondary socket.

BROADBAND PROBLEMS SOLVED

We'll help you get the most from your Broadband. We know the providers promise the earth with broadband speed and more often than not the actual speed you get will be much slower than expected. However, there are plenty of wiring and connection problems that can slow your connection to way less than you could be achieving. We'll start by carrying out a test to confirm what speed's on offer and compare it with you have been been achieving. We can't promise an improvement but we can at least ensure your connection runs as fast as possible.
